European quality. Chinese creatine. Somehow never mentioned in the same sentence.

Walk down the supplement aisle and you'll find a phrase that turns up constantly: "European quality." What you won't find, on almost any of them, is where the raw powder came from.

Almost all of the world's creatine monohydrate is manufactured in China. Not some of it. Almost all of it. The brands selling "European quality" creatine are, in the overwhelming majority of cases, sourcing raw material from a small group of Chinese manufacturers, then packing or finishing it somewhere in Europe. That finishing step is technically true, but it's also doing a lot of quiet work to make you picture a factory in Bavaria instead of Inner Mongolia.

Knowing which country made your creatine tells you nothing about whether that specific batch is actually clean. It doesn't tell you how pure it is, it doesn't tell you whether it passed the handful of contamination checks a lab runs to catch the stuff that shouldn't be there. Only the batch report does that. The batch report is what a lab publishes after testing the specific batch your bag came from. A batch made in China, tested by a lab, with the results published for the exact bag you're holding in your hand, is easier to check than a country flag nobody asked for.

In the interest of not being hypocritical, here's exactly where our batch came from:

FIG. 01 — MANUFACTURER & PACKER, CURRENT BATCH

JUST CREATINE is manufactured by Inner Mongolia Chengxin Yongan Chemical Co., Ltd. Packed by ADOMA d.o.o. in Slovenia, certified IFS Progress and HACCP, two international food safety standards covering the packing process. Certificate's public, batch number included, mostly because hiding it seemed like more effort than just publishing it. That number is what connects this certificate to the specific batch you'd be buying. Whether you buy from us or not, that's the question worth asking whoever you do buy from.
