This page is the practical version: where we ship, how long it takes, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong. The binding version of the same ground is in the Terms of Sale, and your right to send things back is in Returns, withdrawal and warranty.
Where we ship
Slovenia and the European Union. Slovenian orders go by Pošta Slovenije. Orders elsewhere in the EU go by Packeta.
We do not ship outside the EU. If an order comes in from outside the EU we cancel it and refund you in full, and we will tell you rather than leave you wondering.
The countries we can actually deliver to are the ones the checkout offers. If yours is not there, it is not a mistake on your side.
What delivery costs
The cost is shown at checkout, before you confirm anything. The total you see, goods plus delivery, is the total you pay. There is no handling fee, no packaging fee and no surcharge that appears afterwards.
We are not publishing a rate table here, for one reason: our carrier rates ride on contracts that change without us, and a table on this page would be out of date before you read it. The checkout figure is the live one.
If you pick a delivery option more expensive than our cheapest standard one and later withdraw from the order, we refund the standard amount rather than the upgrade. That is the law's rule, not ours, and it is explained in the returns page.
How long it takes
Two separate clocks, and it is worth keeping them apart.
We dispatch within two working days of your order. Between 15 November and 31 December, and on Black Friday, that can stretch by a further 24 hours. This is what our warehouse contract actually binds us to, so it is what we promise. We would rather say two days and mean it than say next day and miss it.
After dispatch, the clock is the carrier's. For Slovenia that is typically a working day or two on top, so most Slovenian orders land within three to four working days of ordering. For the rest of the EU it takes longer and varies by country. The estimate at checkout comes from the carrier. It is an estimate, not a guarantee, and we will not dress it up as one.
The outside limit is 30 days. We deliver within 30 days of the contract at the latest unless we have agreed something else with you. If we miss that, you can give us a further reasonable period, and if we miss that too you can cancel and get a full refund. If the delivery date was essential and you told us so, you can cancel straight away.
Until it reaches you, it is ours
Risk of loss or damage stays with us until you, or somebody you nominate who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.
So if the parcel is lost, or arrives damaged, that is our problem to solve and not yours to argue with the carrier about. We hold the carrier contracts; we chase them. You email hq@opnsrc.nu with a photograph and your order number and we replace or refund.
Damage in transit has its own short section on the returns page, including the eight-day window for telling us.
If nobody is home
Carriers leave a notice and hold the parcel for collection. Their rules, their holding period, and the notice will tell you which.
If the parcel comes back to us undelivered, we contact you. A second delivery attempt is at your cost, because we have already paid for the first one. If we cannot reach you within 30 days we may cancel the order and refund you, minus the outbound and return carriage we actually paid. We will show you those figures rather than name a round number.
Wrong address
Tell us as fast as you can at hq@opnsrc.nu. Before dispatch we can usually fix it. After dispatch we cannot, and the parcel has to come back before anything can be resent.
