Protocol (OSNP) No 001/2026 of the Open Source Nutrition Project
of 1/2026
laying down the general principles and requirements for the commercial enforcement of Radical Integrity, establishing Resolute Transparency as the only acceptable operating framework, and dictating the procedures for the production of Standardized Truth.
THE OPEN SOURCE NUTRITION PROJECT,
Having regard to the inalienable right of the consumer to know exactly what they are buying, where and how it was produced, and who is selling it to them.
Having regard to a global market that treats information concealment as a business model rather than a flaw.
Having regard to the hilarious inadequacy of current regulations—where being "legally compliant" can just as well be a polite way of saying a regulatory loophole is being exploited.
Having regard to the dietary supplement industry, which this Project judges—and stakes its existence on judging correctly—an absolute clown show of deceptive formulations and predatory marketing, resulting in apex-level consumer exploitation.
Whereas:
(1) Integrity is not a marketing buzzword; it is binary: you either maintain Radical Integrity—absolutely without compromise—or you are running a scam. A small scam is still a scam. The current market exists almost entirely in the grey area of "technically legal" and "ethically questionable."
(2) "Trust us" is the mating call of scammers. To operate with Radical Integrity, an entity must enforce Resolute Transparency and at all times adhere to it. The consumer's right to know will always trump a brand's right to hide behind "trade secrets."
(3) In the Project's judgment, no industry concentrates deceptive practices more densely than the dietary supplement industry; it is therefore chosen as the primary adversarial testing ground to demonstrate that Radical Integrity is not a financial liability.
(4) The Open Source Nutrition Project (OSNP) exists to test, as a working Proof-of-Concept, whether Radical Integrity — based on Resolute Transparency and achieved through the production of Standardized Truth — is a sustainable Operational Standard capable of outperforming the current market model. The record of that test is published as it is produced.
HAS ADOPTED THIS PROTOCOL:
Chapter I
Scope and definitions
Article 1
Aim and Scope
1. This Protocol establishes the general principles and requirements for the commercial enforcement of Radical Integrity.
2. It sets out Resolute Transparency as the mandatory operating framework for commercial entities.
3. It dictates the procedures for the production of Standardized Truth.
Article 2
Definition of 'Product'
1. The "Product" is literally anything a business spits out into the world.
2. This includes, but is absolutely not limited to: a dietary supplement, a t-shirt, an interstellar spaceship, a free PDF, a blog article, or a social media post.
3. If it is put out for public consumption—whether it costs €1, €100, a million or is completely free, whether it is physical or digital, an item or a service—it is the Product, and we are accountable for it.
4. Accountability is universal; the machinery is not. Each obligation under this Protocol attaches by its subject matter: manufacturing records attach to manufactured goods; the Efficacy Rationale, its mandatory nuance, and the Null Result attach to any Product that claims a benefit; Effective Dosing attaches to any Product administered in doses. Truthfulness, proof behind claims, and Error Logging attach to every Product, without exception.
Article 3
Definition of 'Radical Integrity'
1. "Radical Integrity" is the absolute, uncompromising alignment between a commercial entity's public claims and its underlying operational reality.
2. It is a strictly binary state: it either exists entirely, or it does not exist at all. Partial integrity does not exist; it is simply a more palatable form of deception.
3. Radical Integrity is not an inherent trait or an empty marketing claim. It is an operational outcome achieved and sustained exclusively through the continuous enforcement of Resolute Transparency.
Article 4
Definition of 'Resolute Transparency'
1. "Transparency" is not a data dump designed to bury the truth under a mountain of irrelevant paperwork. That is obfuscation disguised as compliance.
2. "Transparency" is not selective publishing. Cherry-picking data is just lying by omission.
3. Resolute Transparency is benevolent and deliberate. It is the act of curating and making all relevant data—specifically the exact data a consumer needs to make a fully informed decision—as immediately accessible as possible.
Article 5
Definition of 'Standardized Truth'
1. A "Standardized Truth" is the final Product manufactured and presented by strictly adhering to OSNP Production Standards.
2. The Standards' goal is to guarantee that the Product you see, feel, smell, or touch is exactly what you think it is—and exactly what it is presented as being.
3. The Standards are put in place to reduce, to the maximum possible degree, the possibility that the Product is placed for consumption or presented as something it really isn't.
4. Compliance with the Standards is the only adequate assurance that the Product is Truth. Failure to comply results in a Product that must be considered a Hallucination.
Article 6
Definition of 'OSNP Production Standards'
1. The OSNP Production Standards (the Standards):
(a) operationalize Radical Integrity by providing the operating framework for Resolute Transparency;
(b) constitute the exact requirements needed to produce Standardized Truth.
2. The Standards are defined by four mandatory pillars:
(a) The Open Source Mandate;
(b) Parameters of Application;
(c) Efficacy Constraints;
(d) Error Logging.
Chapter II
The Open Source Mandate
Article 7
Principle and Rule
1. The Principle: The value of the Product is completely dependent on the accessibility and verifiability of its source code. Whether it is a powder in a bag or a claim in a post, the underlying data must be open for audit.
2. The Rule: If the data cannot be published and presented for verification, the Product cannot be released.
Article 8
The Mandate
1. The Open Source Mandate is constituted by two commandments:
(a) The public must have complete and unrestricted access to all available Relevant Data on exact Inputs that make up the Product.
(b) All claims associated with the Product must be grounded in Efficacy Rationale and supported by Valid Proof.
2. Any violation of the Open Source Mandate is officially classified under this Protocol as Bullshit.
Article 9
Inputs and Relevant Data
1. The exact inputs that make up the Product are strictly categorized into three domains:
(a) Core Composition dictates all primary assets and value-providing materials.
(b) Structural Anatomy dictates the support architecture, delivery systems, and physical medium.
(c) Operational Provenance dictates the exact location, entity, and regulatory standards governing production.
2. "Brand trust" is a useless currency. Unrestricted and complete access to the inputs that make up the Product is satisfied only by verifiable data in the form of technical records. This includes, but is not limited to:
(i) Specification Sheets;
(ii) Certificates of Analysis (CoAs);
(iii) Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) or Batch Production Records;
(iv) Declarations of Origin and Supplier Audits.
3. All available input data must be treated as public records to enable independent verification.
Article 10
Efficacy Rationale and Valid Proof
1. The Efficacy Rationale is the objective mechanical or logical foundation that proves exactly how and why a Product delivers its claimed benefit. It is essential because it separates actual, verifiable utility from marketing fiction.
2. Establishing the Efficacy Rationale for any Product is entirely reliant on valid proof.
3. To be considered valid the proof supporting a claim must strictly meet one of three criteria:
(i) Substantiated by the prevailing body of research evidence;
(ii) Demonstrated by an irrefutable mathematical proof;
(iii) Necessitated by a sound logical inference.
Chapter III
Parameters of Application
Article 11
Principle and Rule
1. The Principle: Benefit is defined by specific context, not universal appeal. A tool designed for everyone is optimized for absolutely no one.
2. The Rule: The Product must be defined by its limitations, explicitly stating what it cannot do and whom it does not benefit.
Article 12
Mandatory Nuance
1. Solutions are, without exception, context-dependent. Thus, the Product's Efficacy Rationale must be established with the following mandatory nuance:
(a) The exact conditions—physiological or lifestyle—required for the Product to be effective must be presented.
(b) The expected effects—including the probability of effect and the estimated effect size—must be stated.
2. Both the required conditions and the expected effects are strictly subject to the Definition of Proof; they must be explicitly supported by valid proof.
Article 13
Audience Selection
1. The target audience is defined exclusively via the negative—by determining exactly who the Product is not for and who should not buy it, and then grouping together everyone who does not fit these criteria.
2. The "Null Result"—the specific demographic that will derive absolutely zero benefit from the Product—is a primary data point.
3. The Null Result must be explicitly identified, and the Product must never, under any circumstances, be marketed or sold to them. Doing so is predatory.
Chapter IV
Efficacy Constraints
Article 14
Principle and Rule
1. The Principle: Value is determined strictly by function, never by flair. Thus, form must follow function.
2. The Rule: Decoration without function is prohibited.
Article 15
Zero Redundancy Imperative
1. Every single element of the Product must serve a distinct, provable function.
2. If an element does not alter the outcome, it must be removed.
Article 16
Prohibition of Compromise
1. The Product must operate at "Effective Dosing."
2. Ingredients cannot be diluted to save margin, and facts cannot be diluted to save face or feelings. Substandard materials cannot be chosen to cut costs, and careless design cannot be deployed to save time.
3. Any shortcut or reduction in effort that compromises function, degrades the user experience, or makes information less accessible is strictly prohibited.
Chapter V
Error Logging
Article 17
Principle and Rule
1. The Principle: System integrity can be achieved and maintained only through the recognition of flaws. A system that hides its errors cannot be corrected and is already rotting. Concealment leads to corruption.
2. The Rule: Flaws must be immediately exposed and fully corrected.
Article 18
Intellectual Honesty
1. Intellectual Honesty is an essential element of Resolute Transparency. It is the operational mandate to confront and publicly present uncomfortable truths without distortion, ego, or defensive spin. As such, it is a strict and immutable imperative.
2. Hiding flaws, spinning failures, deleting negative comments, sweeping mistakes under the rug, and any similar offenses constitute the most direct violation of Intellectual Honesty.
3. Even a single violation voids any other claim to integrity and officially classifies the entity as a Spineless Grifter.
Article 19
Mandatory Failure Disclosure
1. Operational failures must be explicitly logged and disclosed as Errors.
2. Errors include, but are strictly not limited to:
(a) Defective batches and manufacturing deviations;
(b) Delayed shipping and fulfillment failures;
(c) Missing, incomplete, or concealed data;
(d) The publication of incorrect or misleading information;
(e) Negative feedback and complaints.
Article 20
Public Error Log
1. A documented history of errors and their corrections must be published in the form of an Error Log.
2. The Error Log is a permanent, chronological, and publicly accessible history of errors and their corrections.
Chapter VI
Final Provisions
Article 21
Entry into Force
This Protocol enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official System Repository of the OSNP.
Article 22
Baseline Metric
This Protocol is binding in its entirety and serves as the baseline compliance metric for any commercial entity claiming to operate under the standard of Radical Integrity.
Article 23
Disclosure of Intent
1. Adoption of this Protocol is not necessary. Trafficking Hallucinations, the dissemination of Bullshit, and Spineless Grifting are currently not considered criminal offenses and thus will not be prosecuted.
2. Refusal to adopt the Protocol constitutes no more than a public and voluntary admission of dishonesty and a complete disclosure of malevolent intent.
